The Strategy Zone by Chess Rabbits™ works as both a recurring amenity for your residential building and a one-off experience for scheduled events. We bring a mix of screen-free strategy games, including chess, classic board games, and newer games for ages 5 and up, including adults. Sometimes we create the focused atmosphere of a chess club. Other times we build the energy of a larger gaming experience. We shape each session around what works best for your building and its residents.

We arrive with a curated collection of board games after a consultation with your amenities director.

The idea came from our own students. We run chess programs across the greater NYC area, and we kept noticing how many of our families lived in buildings with beautiful amenity spaces. Some of those buildings were already hosting events in them. We wanted in. I’m Phil Rosenberg, founder of Chess Rabbits and The Strategy Zone.

Sometimes The Strategy Zone is simply Chess Rabbits coming in to do chess. That might mean a weekly lesson, casual play, small tournaments, or a mix of all three. It’s often designed for kids, but not always, and it gives residents an easy way to make chess a regular part of life in the building.

Flexible Programming Built for Your Space

We shape The Strategy Zone around your building, your residents, and your space.

We create weekly and monthly hosted game sessions, build larger gaming spaces with a rotating collection of chess and strategy games, and organize tournaments around the game-types your residents enjoy most. We can also create a permanent Strategy Zone for your amenity space, giving residents access to the games throughout the week while a Strategy Zone instructor visits regularly to introduce new games, organize play, run tournaments, and keep the program fresh.
